The duo of Daniel Titz and Dorian Lebherz (students at the Film Academy of Baden-Württemberg in Germany) are back with another brilliant spec ad, with the ok from Volvo to create the ABC of Death. You might remember them from last year, they created the wildly popular and simply beautiful spec ad for Johnnie Walker, “Dear Brother.”
Is it spec? You bet your life it is. That said, the directors got Volvo’s blessing before going ahead. “We contacted Volvo to ask about some of their brand new models,” Lebherz tells AdFreak. “We knew that was a little risky with that script, but we wanted [to show] a car that had not been released at that time. And actually, we were a little bit surprised when they told us it was OK.”via David Gianatasio at Adfreak
